Between 11-13 June 2026, Valeriu Mina, Partner in the Dispute Resolution practice, was a speaker at the European Bars Federation General Congress 2026.

The congress addressed one of the most important and sensitive challenges currently facing the legal profession: Professional Secrecy under Pressure: the upcoming new AML Regulation and KYC in the EU. Will lawyers have to police their clients even more?

Valeriu joined representatives of European Bar Associations, bar leaders, legal institutions and legal professionals across Europe for three days of valuable discussions on the future of the legal profession and the protection of lawyers’ core values in a rapidly changing regulatory landscape.
