NNDKP promotes 16 lawyers and one tax consultant in the latest round of promotions
Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen (NNDKP) promotes 16 lawyers and one tax consultant in 2026, bolstering eight key practice areas within the firm. 7 lawyers are promoted to senior managing associate positions, 7 other lawyers are promoted to managing associate roles, 2 lawyers are named senior associates, and one tax consultant is named Tax Director. Furthermore, 22 other lawyers take a step forward in their careers.
During this round of promotions, Andreea Șovar (Dispute Resolution), Vlad Anghel (Corporate/M&A), Mihai Fifoiu (Corporate/M&A), Alexandra Pătrașcu (Tax), Mihaela Ceaușescu (Dispute Resolution), Florina Firaru (Intellectual Property) and Delia Băroianu (Timișoara office) are promoted to Senior Managing Associate, Daniel Stăncescu (Employment), Alexandru Ciambur (Banking and Finance), Andreea Ciubotaru (Dispute Resolution), Florentin Nanu (Dispute Resolution), Adina Moldovan (Dispute Resolution), Dragoș Pigui (Dispute Resolution) and Ion Loga (Timișoara office) are promoted to Managing Associate, while Teodora Roman (Environment) and Iulian Ursache (Real Estate and Construction) join the team of senior lawyers. Furthermore, tax consultant Ancuța Stroescu is promoted to Tax Director.

Andreea Șovar specializes in administrative litigation, with a particular focus on disputes related to the authorization procedure for construction works or disputes that raise sensitive issues of urban planning law. Furthermore, she has considerable experience in representing clients from the real estate, energy and natural resources, and banking and finance sectors in complex civil and commercial litigation, tax disputes, as well as in insolvency proceedings.
Vlad Anghel specializes in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, commercial law, and public procurement, providing legal advice on complex transactions, including in due diligence projects, M&A deals, corporate reorganizations, as well as on matters arising from the implementation of FIDIC contracts and other construction contracts related to infrastructure projects.
Mihai Fifoiu specializes in corporate law and assists clients across diverse industries with mergers and acquisitions, providing guidance on transaction structuring, due diligence processes, and contract negotiations, including post-closing integration and implementation. Furthermore, he has gained considerable experience in the gambling and gaming sector, advising both local and international B2C and B2B operators on licensing and authorization procedures, as well as on various regulatory matters.
Alexandra Pătrașcu provides legal and tax advice to clients across a wide range of industries. She advises companies on the tax implications of domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and other complex business operations. She has extensive experience in investment tax structuring and tax planning, guiding clients throughout the entire investment lifecycle, from market entry and development to day-to-day operations and exit. Additionally, she assists clients in tax disputes and in identifying tax optimization opportunities.
Mihaela Ceaușescu specializes in commercial disputes, including complex representative actions to defend the collective interests of consumers, banking and corporate law disputes, as well as administrative and tax disputes. She also represents clients in restitution and landownership disputes, as well as in litigation involving state aid matters and in various types of claims in relation to insolvency proceedings. She has represented clients before the Romanian courts of all levels as well as before the Court of Justice of the European Union in preliminary ruling procedures requested in connection with the interpretation of EU law.
Florina Firaru coordinates NNDKP’s Intellectual Property practice. She assists clients with the full spectrum of matters involving trademarks and designs, copyright and related rights, patents, utility models, and domain names. She provides strategic legal guidance to local companies and international clients throughout all stages of intellectual property rights protection, from filing and prosecution to portfolio management, enforcement, and amicable settlement of disputes.
Delia Băroianu specializes in employment law, and regularly assists clients in designing, assessing and implementing various human resources strategies. She advises clients on drafting and implementing internal policies and regulations, managing individual and collective labor relations, including disciplinary procedures, workplace discrimination and harassment investigations, as well as collective negotiations. Additionally, she provides legal support in navigating restructuring processes involving individual or collective dismissals, as well as assistance and representation in employment litigation.
Daniel Stăncescu provides advice to clients on sensitive employment law matters and best practices in managing employment relations. His work covers structuring, drafting, negotiation, and execution of individual and collective employment agreements, participating in collective negotiations with trade unions and employee representatives, employee transfers, and complex restructuring processes, including large-scale collective dismissals. Furthermore, he has extensive experience in managing top management exits, complex internal investigations, termination procedures and designing comprehensive internal procedures, policies and regulations.
Alexandru Ciambur specializes in banking and finance law. His expertise covers cross-border and domestic financing transactions, involving both syndicated and bilateral financing structures. Throughout his career, he has been involved in some of the largest transactions handled by NNDKP’s Banking and Finance practice, in sectors such as agribusiness, energy, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, real estate and manufacturing. Furthermore, he advises clients on complex regulatory matters specific to his field of expertise.
Andreea Ciubotaru specializes in dispute resolution matters. She has considerable experience in administrative law, urban planning law, and competition law disputes. Furthermore, she provides assistance and representation in complex public procurement disputes and employment litigation. Andreea represents clients across a wide range of industries, including healthcare and life sciences, retail, manufacturing, construction, energy, and aviation.
Florentin Nanu specializes in tax disputes, in cases involving a wide range of complex tax law matters, including VAT, income tax, transfer pricing, excise duties, and other taxes or contributions, civil and commercial litigation, labor disputes, business law disputes and insolvency proceedings. He represents clients at all levels of jurisdiction before courts, public authorities, as well as in relation to individuals and legal entities, both in pre-litigation and litigation phases.
Adina Moldovan provides legal assistance and representation to clients in civil law and commercial law disputes, labor law disputes, administrative litigation, consumer protection disputes, and insolvency matters. She regularly advises clients active in the real estate, retail, and banking sectors.
Dragoș Pigui provides legal assistance and representation to clients primarily in tax disputes, administrative litigation, and civil and commercial disputes. He assists clients across various industries, such as agribusiness, automotive, insurance, and construction in insolvency proceedings, debt recovery, and enforcement procedures, as well as in other contentious matters.
Ion Loga specializes in dispute resolution matters, assisting clients from diverse industries such as automotive, agribusiness, construction, industrial and manufacturing, in court proceedings spanning a wide range of contentious areas, from tax litigation, labor litigation, banking litigation, to administrative and commercial litigation. He also assists clients in consumer disputes and insolvency and enforcement procedures.
Ancuța Stroescu specializes in tax advisory services. She advises clients on VAT implications arising from business and corporate reorganizations, as well as M&A transactions, both domestic and cross-border, including mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, and business line divestitures. Her expertise also extends to VAT compliance. In addition, she supports clients in their engagements with tax authorities, including clarifying the VAT treatment of specific transactions and managing objection and appeal procedures related to VAT matters.
Teodora Roman advises clients on a broad range of environmental matters, providing support on regulatory and compliance aspects, water and waste management frameworks, environmental liability, including liability arising from historical contamination, remediation projects, and litigation involving environmental law matters.
Iulian Ursache specializes in real estate and construction law matters. He provides general assistance to clients regarding the implementation of various real estate projects, advising on general corporate law matters as well as urban and town planning issues. His practice includes conducting due diligence analyses for all types of real estate assets, including agricultural land, office buildings, retail and logistics parks, and residential projects.
