The CELF Community held the second event part of the series of business gatherings scheduled for 2023 which are designed to provide a platform for relevant debates on topical tax matters.
The NNDKP Center of Excellence in Fiscal Disputes (NNDKP CELF) has launched together with Oameni si Companii – OSC the CELF community, which is designed to provide a forum for debate for specialists in the legal and finance departments of companies, top executives and entrepreneurs.
Ioana Grigoriu, Managing Associate in NNDKP’s Real Estate practice, was one of the speakers at the XVIth edition of the Real Estate & Construction Forum organized by Business Mark. This year, some of the most important players in the industry were invited to share their views on the current situation and future challenges for the real estate market, for all four market segments: retail, industrial & logistics, office and residential.

The Bucharest Court of Appeals has recently decided to refer several questions to the Court of Justice of the European Union for a preliminary ruling on the interpretation of the EU law to clarify the lawfulness of the electrical energy production surcharge imposed by Law 259/2021. The request came from a company operating in the renewable energy sector, represented by Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen (NNDKP). Additionally, the Bucharest Court of Appeals referred to the Constitutional Court an objection of unlawfulness relating to the same legal provisions on the surcharge imposed for electrical energy production.
