Roxana Ionescu – speaker at the “GDPR – Data Privacy Observer” conference and recipient of the Excellence Award at the event gala
Roxana Ionescu, Partner and Head of NNDKP’s Data Protection practice, contributed to the works of the “GDPR – Data Privacy Observer” conference with a presentation on how the interpretation of GDPR evolved in time and the impact this had in practice.
Ciprian Paun, Partner and Co-Head of NNDKP Cluj office, was one of the opening speakers at the conference.
The second edition of the Romanian Journal on Personal Data Protection and Security (in Romanian “RRPSDCP”) and a special edition of the “Legal Magazin” publication were launched after the panel discussions. The latter publication features an interview with Roxana, in which she outlines what has changed since the implementation of GDPR and the latest developments in this field, as well as the recent activity of the Data Protection team she coordinates.
The event ended with the RRPSDCP Awards Gala during which Roxana received the Excellence Award for her notable contribution to the data protection field.
