3 new partners at NNDKP effective March 1, 2018
Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen (NNDKP) announced today the promotion of three lawyers to partnership. This decision reconfirms NNDKP’s strategy in stimulating the internal development of its lawyers on all levels of seniority and continues to consolidate its position as a leader of the Romanian business law market.
Corina Dumitru and Razvan Vlad were promoted to partner within the Corporate/M&A Practice, and Lavinia Ionita Rasmussen was promoted to partner within the Real Estate Practice of the firm.
In addition to the promotions at partnership level, NNDKP promoted
four lawyers to Managing Associate position: Iurie Cojocaru (Environment and Data Protection Practices), Ioana Grigoriu (Real Estate Practice), Madalina Panca and Alina Vizitiu (Corporate/M&A Practice);
three lawyers to Senior Associate position: Irina Albu (Environment and Data Protection Practices), Raluca Maier (Cluj Office) and Alina Dumitru (Intellectual Property Department).
Starting with March 1, 2018, the NNDKP team will be comprised of 33 partners (28 lawyers and 5 tax advisors), over 130 lawyers and advisors and over 80 employees in the supporting departments.

Corina Dumitru
Corina joined NNDKP in 2007.
She has more than 15 years of professional experience in the legal area, her expertise covering areas such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate law and commercial transactions as well as banking and finance. Corina has assisted a large number of investors, national and multinational companies, banks and institutions in large complex transactions carried out in Romania.
She is also specialized in banking and financing law.
Lavinia Ionita Rasmussen
Lavinia joined NNDKP team in 2005.
With a professional experience of over 12 years in the legal area, Lavinia consolidates its position as a leader in the Romanian legal services community through her promotion as a Partner with the Real Estate practice of the firm. Her expertise covers all the specific matters related to real estate industry. She has successfully negotiated and closed complex projects and business structures, provided assistance in transaction arrangements, development issues or constructions and urbanism and applied integrated exit solutions.
Lavinia is also specialized in FIDIC contracts.
Razvan Vlad
Razvan joined NNDKP team in 2013.
He has over 14 years of experience in providing legal assistance. His area of expertise include corporate law, mergers and acquisitions as well as specific regulatory and performance aspects related to FIDIC contracts in major infrastructure projects. Răzvan has also assisted clients in complex projects in the automotive and heavy industry.

Iurie Cojocaru, Managing Associate
With a professional experience of over ten years, Iurie assists clients in all matters related to data protection and environmental law. He has assisted a significant number of national and multinational companies which are activating in various industries such as automotive, pharmaceutical, telecommunications and food industry.
Iurie regularly assists clients in controls conducted by the data protection authorities, as well as in internal data protection and privacy audits and training, including on GDPR.
Ioana Grigoriu, Managing Associate
Ioana has over nine years of experience in providing legal assistance in the real estate area. She has assisted clients in due diligence analyses and the negotiation of complex contracts. Ioana is also specialized in projects related to the forestry and agricultural areas, the development of office/retail buildings, industrial parks, as well as in relation to insolvency matters.
Madalina Panca, Managing Associate
Madalina has over ten years of professional experience in corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions as well as insurance and private pensions. Mădălina has assisted local and international clients in relation to corporate and commercial law matters, M&A, being involved in all transaction stages (due diligence coordination, structuring and elaboration of transaction documents, contract negotiations, implementation of pre and closing conditions) as well as in specific regulatory aspects, specific contracts and transactions related to the insurance and private pensions sector.
Alina Vizitiu, Managing Associate
Alina has over 14 years of professional in the area of commercial law and provides assistance in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in areas such as telecom, audio and visual communications, automotive, agribusiness, pharmaceutical etc.
She is specialized in the telecom and media sector and has assisted several important domestic and international operators in projects related to the implementation of national and European legislation, public consultations concerning primary and secondary legislation, actions against certain decisions issued by the regulatory authorities, implementation of certain electronic and media communication services, as well as negotiations with other operators.
Irina Albu, Senior Associate
Irina has over nine years of experience in providing legal assistance. She is specialized in the data protection area assisting clients in audits concerning GDPR compliance, data protection implications related to mergers and acquisitions, e-privacy matters, processing and data transfer formalities etc.
Irina has significant experience also in corporate and commercial law as well as in mergers and acquisition projects. She also assists clients in relation to environment law matters.
Alina Dumitru, Senior Associate
Alina has over seven years of professional experience in intellectual property and gaming law. Alina assists a wide range of clients in all aspects of trademark and design rights, copyright and related rights matters, IP rights administration, domain names disputes, as well as IP litigation matters.
In the gaming sector, Alina assists both gaming operators and services suppliers on specific regulatory issues and represents them before the relevant authorities.
Raluca Maier, Senior Associat, Cluj-Napoca Office
Raluca has over eight years of experience in the dispute resolution area. She has assisted various companies active in sectors such as energy and natural resources, FMCG as well as banking and finance.
