On April 12, 2023, The Legal 500 has launched the 2023 edition of its EMEA rankings. The results of the research conducted among law firms active in Europe reconfirm NNDKP’s position as a leading business law firm in Romania.

On March 16, 2023, Chambers & Partners released the results of its 2022 European research, a benchmark when it comes to recognizing prominent law firms and leading legal practitioners in the region.

Sorina Olaru, Partner in NNDKP’s Dispute Resolution practice, attended the seventh edition of the conference “Arbitration in the private law area in a European context” organized by Universul Juridic.

NNDKP received new distinctions at the 12th edition of the “Avocati de Top 2022” Gala, which recognizes lawyers active in various business law areas for their professional achievements throughout 2021, event organized by Finmedia and Piata Financiara.

Sorina Olaru, Partner in NNDKP’s Dispute Resolution Practice, participated in the debate “Bifurcation in the arbitration procedure: When? How? Why would the parties do it? Who wins?” which took place on 27 June 2022.

Sorina Olaru, Partner in NNDKP’s Dispute Resolution Practice, participated in the third edition of Bucharest Arbitration Days (BARD), which took place on 9-10 June 2022 in a hybrid format.

NNDKP has obtained a major success, confirmed by a final decision of the High Court of Cassation and Justice (HCCJ), namely the annulment of a fine in excess of lei 24 million (approximately Euro 5 million) applied by the Competition Council for allegedly establishing anticompetitive agreements intended to limit prices in the context of the promotional campaigns carried out at the level of food retail chains between 2005 – 2009.

On March 17, Chambers & Partners released the results of its 2021 European research, a benchmark when it comes to recognizing the best law firms and legal practitioners in the region.

Sorina Olaru, Partner in NNDKP’s Dispute Resolution practice, was one of the speakers in the webinar organized by the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation (DRBF), which was dedicated to examining the key differences between statutory adjudication, adjudication by dispute avoidance/adjudication boards, and arbitration.

The conference “Domestic and international commercial arbitration. Current practice and future trends in the context of the New Rules of arbitration“, organized by the Court of Commercial and Maritime Arbitration under CCINA Constanta, the Enterprise Europe Network Center and the Court of International Commercial Arbitration attached to the Commerce and Industry Chamber of Romania, took place last week in Constanta.
