Sorina Olaru, Partner in NNDKP’s Dispute Resolution Practice, participated in the debate “Bifurcation in the arbitration procedure: When? How? Why would the parties do it? Who wins?” which took place on 27 June 2022.

“I would define the bifurcation of an arbitration procedure as a consequence of the intervention in the arbitration procedure of an element that could determine different evolutions of the solutions on the merits of the case. It may be a matter related to the actual arbitration proceedings, justice-related objections, or it may be a matter related to the merits of the case”, mentioned Sorina.

The debate is part of a series of events organised by Law Science Society (in Romanian, “Societatea de Științe Juridice”) and broadcasted live on Juridice.ro platform.

The recording is available only to Juridice.ro members, here.
