Roxana has over 15 years of professional experience in employment and labor law. She heads NNDKP’s Employment practice and has been part of the NNDKP team since 2010.

She has extensive knowledge and experience assisting both private Romanian and foreign clients on the full range of employment matters, either in the context of major projects or during regular business activity.

Roxana provides expert advice in relation to individual and collective labour relationships, being called to implement HR strategies, anticipate legal issues and reduce legal risks in the context of enforcement of business strategies.

Her practice focuses on:

  • execution, amendment, suspension and termination of employment contracts
  • non-competition, post-employment non-solicitation, and confidentiality obligations
  • drafting and revision of internal regulations and policies
  • conclusion and enforcement of collective bargaining agreements
  • implementation of individual and collective dismissals
  • implementation of local transfers of businesses and transnational ones
  • dealing with discrimination and harassment claims
  • preparing the strategy and back-up documentation in employment claims
  • day-to-day assistance on labour issues

  • assistance to the entities of a major international player on pharmaceutical market in implementing the entire process of business reorganization involving collective dismissals, by establishing the strategy to be followed and preparing all the relevant documentation; assistance in various procedures of termination of employment relationships, in revising and amending the relevant labour related internal policies, providing the legal department with employment legislation and practice training sessions, providing general day-to-day advice in a variety of employment matters, including assistance in employment litigations
  • assistance to the largest operator in mobile communications in implementing the transfer of employees following an outsourcing process involving part of its activity
  • advice to the world’s largest chain of fast food restaurants in relation to various employment matters, such as: preparing the strategy and drafting the documents for the implementation of a restructuring process and termination of the employment contracts; drafting the internal procedures on employees’ professional evaluation and termination of the employment relationships for poor performance reasons; initiating the process of negotiating the collective labour agreement at company level, as well as advising the company in relation to the election by the employees of their representatives
  • advice to a global provider of electronic payment and transaction processing solutions in relation to various employment matters such as implementing disciplinary investigations and procedures of termination of employment relationships, preparing the internal regulations, as well as providing ongoing advice to the client on all employment matters
  • assistance to a leader in embedded processing solutions for the automotive, consumer, industrial and networking markets in carrying out the formalities necessary for international posting of its employees to other group entities, advising during the implementation of restructuring processes as well as providing legal advice on various labour and employment-related matters
  • assistance to an international, multi-channel retailer in connection with various employment matters, including disciplinary termination of the employment relationship, restructuring processes triggered by the closing down of working points
  • advice to a leading agricultural company in connection with a wide range of employment matters, such as implementing restructuring processes, the employer’s obligations related to the collective negotiation, revising the internal procedures
  • legal advice to a British financial services company in relation to preparing and updating internal policies (e.g., poor performance procedure), implementing restructuring processes involving individual dismissals, assistance in connection with the implementation of specific working programs, assistance during the litigations with the employees
  • assistance to the local entity of an American multinational food and beverage corporation during the close down of a factory involving a collective dismissal process, assistance in relation to the employment implications of the transfer of part of activity, providing legal assistance in connection with implementing disciplinary procedures
  • assistance to one of the largest oilfield services group during the implementation of an envisaged transfer of employees process, assistance in relation to the legal requirements for working places to be considered as being special/dangerous ones, assistance in a disciplinary termination process
