- Assisted one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies with the challenge in court of the Romanian Competition Council’s sanctioning decision concerning an alleged abuse of dominance on the Romanian market for medicines used to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The case follows a certain strand of cases at the European Commission level yet displays unique features.
- Assisted a Swiss pharmaceutical company in the investigations and related litigation concerning a Romanian Competition Council decision sanctioning exclusionary conduct in public tenders and biosimilar entry delay.
- Assisted two group companies active in the automotive industry in the first-ever Romanian Competition Council investigation regarding a potential no-poach breach – a “hot topic” across the EU, receiving increased attention from competition authorities.
- Assisted several companies in the automotive industry during an investigation concerning alleged access restrictions on the markets for maintenance, repair services and spare parts for certain motor vehicle brands in Romania. The investigation impacts companies covering 70% of the car fleet in Romania.
- Assisted Europe’s market leader in fuel cards, smart solutions for tolls and fleet management in obtaining merger clearance from the European Commission and FDI authorization in Romania related to the acquisition of a competitor.
