Representative Cases and Transactions
- Assisted the local subsidiary of a multinational U.S. technology company in a wide series of employment projects, including a complex collective dismissal, the negotiation and conclusion of its first collective bargaining agreement, the election of a Special Negotiating Body for the formation of a European Works Council, as well as sensitive employment investigations and terminations and day-to-day employment topics.
- Assisted the IT and shared services branch of a multinational telecommunications group in several complex local and cross-border TUPE-type transfers, from the design of strategy, to drafting and negotiating transfer terms.
- Assisted a multinational pharmaceutical company on a wide array of employment matters, including the implementation of complex reorganization processes, the management of sensitive internal investigations and performance cases, and the update and alignment of internal employment policies.
- Assisted a multinational agribusiness group in conducting a gap analysis of its employment practices across two companies and assessing alignment with the Romanian labour legislation and EU requirements.
- Assisted a global technology company with employment law advice in a cross-border M&A transaction involving the acquisition of a Romanian subsidiary, and continued to advise on a wide range of post-acquisition matters, including the alignment of employment documentation and policies with global standards, the review of the collective bargaining agreement, and ongoing guidance on workforce integration.
