NNDKP at the webinar “What issues are companies facing during remote work?”

On 15 and 17 June 2021, employment specialists from 13 European jurisdictions joined forces to present and discuss the most challenging issues faced by companies based in Southeast Europe and Russia during remote work in a 2-part webinar entitled “What issues are companies facing during remote work?

Organized by SEE Legal and ALRUD Law Firm, the webinar provided an insight into the current legal framework in each of the jurisdictions in question and recent opinions of authorities, provided a practical approach to challenging situations and discussed any challenges for future development. Panelists also answered questions live during the Q&A session.

The debates were structured as follows:

  • 15 June 2021, 11.00 a.m. CET – 1st Session of the webinar covered the jurisdictions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Russia, Serbia and Slovenia.
  • 17 June 2021, 11.00 a.m. CET – 2nd Session of the webinar covered the jurisdictions of Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Kosovo, Romania, Russia and Turkey.

Roxana Abrasu, Partner and Head of NNDKP’s Employment practice, joined the discussions in the 2nd Session of the webinar on June 17th to tackle some burning questions on the topic, such as “Can employers unilaterally impose remote work?” or “What are the correlative obligations triggered by organizing remote work?”.
