• assisted a French-based cooperative group active in the processed agricultural raw materials, in particular sugar, alcohol and starch markets, with environmental matters in connection with the reorganization of the client’s local subsidiary operating one of the biggest Romanian sugar factories.
• advised one of the leading companies in Italy in the field of green energy on environmental matters in a litigation involving the extension of concession agreements for 13,000 hectares located in the Danube Delta.
• advised a bioenergy company regarding the environmental requirements for constructing, testing and commissioning a biomass cogeneration plan.
• assisted one of the most important mining companies in Romania in a lawsuit filed against it by a Romanian NGO in relation to the annulment of an urbanism plan and the environmental permit based on which the plan was approved.
• advised the largest developer and long-term manager of industrial and logistics parks in the CEE area on environmental law aspects in the due diligence process conducted in the context of the client’s sale of 61 million new shares by IPO, representing 15.4% of its total number of shares, raising EUR 854.2 million (excluding over-allotment options).
• advised a large retailer with advice on a wide range of waste management matters.
