Practice Areas

Expertise

Georgeta started her collaboration with NNDKP in 2004 and coordinated the Competition Team for 15 years, before taking the role of Of Counsel in 2023.

She became familiar with a diversity of business models while assisting both large multinational companies and domestic clients.

She gained significant industry expertise and was constantly connected to the business environment, benefitting from the variety of the clients’ industries, as well as from her active role in the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham Romania) Competition Committee.

She has focused on projects with great impact on companies’ business: investigations and related competition litigation, including pleading before EU courts (General Court), merger clearance in multijurisdictional M&A transactions, competition compliance in the clients’ day-to-day business.

The work was often carried out in cooperation with international law firms since the team’s acknowledged reputation in the market attracted constant referrals from clients and peers alike.

The team, which has been continuously ranked by Chambers & Partners since 2007 and by Legal 500 since their first research of the EU and Competition area in Romania, is now coordinated by Anca Diaconu, Partner, a highly experienced professional recognized by international rankings.
