NNDKP is strongly committed to the principle of equal opportunity and is dedicated to fostering the professional development of women in the area of business law. These nominations confirm the fact that diversity is a permanent concern for us, which is proved by the mixed structure of the NNDKP team, where, out of the 145 lawyers and consultants, 82 are women, as well as by the gender structure at the level of the management of the firm (out of the total of 17 partners, 11 are women). Furthermore, the firm’s equal opportunity policy is clearly reflected in the involvement of our women lawyers in the successful negotiation and conclusion of major transactions”, states Manuela Nestor, who also coordinates NNDKP’s Banking, Finance and Capital Markets Department.

Recognized in the Romanian business environment as one of the most respected business lawyers, Manuela Nestor coordinated, during her 35 years of professional activity, significant projects in the areas of banking law, financing, restructuring and assets sale operations, mergers and acquisitions, some of which were of an unprecedented complexity, transactions which clearly opened new avenues in important sectors of the Romanian economy.
