We performed a detailed employment and labor due diligence analysis at the request of our client, Bechtel. We drafted the follow-up recommendations with respect to all employment-related documents, internal regulation and policies, collective labor agreement and dismissal procedures. Our team was involved in training the client’s employees by drafting and presenting health and safety tutorials and assisted the client in implementing collective redundancies procedures. We continue to provide ongoing advice to the client on all employment matters.
We assisted Vodafone in revising and amending its labor related internal regulations as well as other employment related internal policies of the company; we are providing Vodafone with employment legislation and practice training sessions and ongoing advice on all employment matters.
We advise Microsoft with respect to the employment and labor implications of significant corporate local acquisitions. We also assist the client in revising and amending its internal policies in the employment area, updating the employment contracts, implementing the dismissal for redundancy following the reorganization process. We continue to provide ongoing advice to the client on all employment matters.
We advised Ford Motor Company with respect to employment and labor relationships following the company’s acquisition of Automobile Craiova S.A. and Daewoo Automobile Romania S.A., including: reorganization of the companies, collective negotiations at the level of each company and conclusion of the collective labor agreements, compliance with health and safety legal requirements.
We advised Citibank regarding the employment implications of the envisaged cross-merger of Citibank Romania and Citibank Ireland, including the possible applicability of the transfer of undertakings regulations and information and consultation obligations.
