We advise in relation to matters that arise at different stages of employment: hiring employees, executing, amending, suspending and terminating employment contracts. This includes executive service agreements, employee relations, staff training, workplace policies.
We assist clients with respect to the implementation of employment termination procedures, representation in collective negotiation meetings, settlement of collective conflicts related to the collective negotiation by means of conciliation in order to avoid strikes, interpretation and implementation of collective labor agreements, compliance with information and consultation requirements in relation with the trade unions’ and employees’ representatives, election of the members of the special negotiation body representing the employees in the procedure of setting up the European Works Council in a Societas Europea.
We advise our clients on corporate restructuring and labour related matters, including sales of businesses and outsourcing, redundancies and reductions in work force, drafting and implementation of collective redundancies.
We advise on share incentive and bonus schemes, employee trusts, cash and other incentive schemes as well as share scheme aspects of transactions.
We employ a multidisciplinary litigation team that prepares cases and represents clients before the Employment Tribunal; we also have considerable experience in settling disputes prior to court hearings.
