Our Real Estate practice is widely recognized for its expertise gained through complex and significant real estate transactions (involving both domestic and foreign jurisdictions) encompassing a large scale of sophisticated share and asset deals while providing clients with the most suitable transaction framework.

We provide extensive assistance to our clients on real estate projects from inception to exit by performing due diligence analysis on the target property, drafting transaction documents (including joint ventures, shareholder agreements, asset and property management agreements, leasing and services agreements, project finance and financing documentation), assisting in the negotiation process and providing clients with flexible and creative solutions to legal issues and deadlock situations. Together with our tax colleagues, we help our clients structure transactions from a tax perspective in order to best suit their interests.

Our Real Estate practice has unique experience in all types of real estate projects, from office buildings and shopping centers, residential and logistic related projects to handling concession agreements and public-private real estate partnerships. Our assistance ranges from drafting and negotiating complex construction contracts (including FIDIC agreements), lease and sale-purchase agreements to drafting and negotiating documents related to the financing of the projects, tax structuring and exit strategies as well as ensuring the day-to-day management of projects.

The practice is headed by Partner Ioana Niculeasa, a reputed lawyer with over eleven years of experience in coordinating complex real estate transactions.
