Our Infrastructure and PPP practice was built around a group of lawyers who have distinguished themselves from their peers by their expertise and industry understanding. The team has a demonstrated project development and negotiation expertise from both the investor and public sector perspective and has successfully advised clients under all successively applicable legislative frameworks for over twelve years.

Our practice encompasses public procurement proceedings, expropriation, public administration, the entire range of commercial and financing contractual matters typical for the development of infrastructure projects, as well as specific contract issues that need to be skillfully negotiated and managed in an unsettled business environment. Our lawyers also provide legal advice guiding or facilitating the post-closing day-to-day implementation of contracts, as well as assistance with the resolution of the disputes occurring in the procurement or performance thereof.

The expertise accumulated by our team spans from the more traditional procurement and financing structures to the public-private partnership schemes and is complemented by in–depth knowledge of the factors that influence the development of such projects in Romania and a true capacity to advise based on the dynamics of such factors in specific market circumstances.

The Infrastructure and PPP practice is coordinated by Senior Partner Adriana Gaspar. For regional projects, the core team relies on senior associates located in the Brasov, Craiova and Timisoara offices of NNDKP, each having an excellent track record and experience in the area of infrastructure development.
